PHP 7.4 was released today, great news for PHP developers all over the world, largely inconsequential news for everyone else.

We'll be moving ours and client applications on to 7.4 in due course providing all of the tests are passing, I'm not expecting any to fail looking at the changelog but you never know!

PHP 7.0 end of life

It's worth noting that PHP 7.0 and 7.1 are now at end of life so if you're running an application that's holding sensitive data you need to think about upgrading to at least 7.2. There's a few gotchas with that upgrade if your error reporting is setup correctly.

We'll be happy to help with any issues you're having with your apps, just get in touch.
